AHU · 01 Supply-exhaust ventilation is not “two fans at opposite ends of the building”. It is a balanced AHU: what you take from outside you throw away, filtered, heated, often with heat recovery. Aurum Prodest selects supply-only, extract-only or a full unit and commissions it with a balancing report.
Extract-only pulls toilet smells and stair dust; supply-only pressurises neighbours. A proper AHU holds near-neutral or slight positive pressure in clean zones. We explain that on survey, not after tenant complaints.

The unit is selected on flow, external pressure, filter class and Tashkent climate: summer dust, winter coil. Heat recovery (rotary or plate) belongs where run-hours are long. Kitchen grease never shares the office recuperator.
Controls are freeze protection, filter dirty alarms, occupancy clocks and fire shutdown — not “max 24/7 or off at the breaker”. We program day / night / setback.
Duct velocities: 5–8 m/s in mains, quieter at grilles. Flex only at the fan. Silencers, non-return and fire dampers are in the design. The AHU needs a frame, isolation, drain and 600 mm filter access.
Balancing is mandatory. Handover: unit passport, drawings, filter schedule. 5-year workmanship warranty. We also retrofit existing duct if sections are still healthy.
Office ventilation is sized from headcount, equipment heat and working hours — not from floor area slogans.
Restaurant ventilation is two jobs under one roof: pull heat and grease off the line, keep the dining room comfortable without kitchen smell.
Workshop ventilation is sized from process emissions, not from floor-area myths.
Warehouse ventilation protects goods and people, not “air under the ridge for its own sake”.
Ventilation design saves site rework: air change and pressure first, then duct sizes and purchase lists.
Ventilation succeeds on airflow design and ducts more than brand stars. Pros/cons of units we install often.

| | Mid-range | Predictable AHU selection and kits | Pricier than pure value brands |
| | Mid-range | European mid for offices and F&B | Not the cheapest entry |
| | Mid-range | Quality fans, long life | Narrower “boxed AHU” range |
| | Mid-range | Central units for large networks | Heavier specs and cost |
| | Best value | Best value for typical networks | Less premium build reserve |
| | Best value | Accessible AHUs and light-commercial kits | Weaker mid on heavy industrial duty |
| Balance | supply ≈ extract within design tolerance |

Calc, AHU, ducts, controls, balancing and documents — not hanging a fan and leaving.
No. Short hours and small flow may not pay back. High-change offices and kitchens usually do. We use run-hours and tariffs.
If extract already exists and we count it. Otherwise you pressurise the neighbours.
The AC recirculates and cools. The AHU replaces air. A sealed office usually needs both.
Air still enters through cracks and stairs. That is not hygiene, it is a lottery.
A compact office unit — days after delivery. An industrial plant room — weeks. Power and heating water are often the bottleneck.
