HVAC exchangers join circuits with different fluids: water-water, steam-water, glycol. Aurum Prodest sizes area and pressure drop, supplies gasketed or shell-and-tube units and pipes them so plates can be serviced, not bricked into a corner.

Wrong ΔT and flow is a “cold coil on a hot boiler”. We use project schedules, not the last site. Gasketed plates service well; brazed is compact but stricter on water; shell-and-tube for steam and dirty fluids.

About the service

Wrong ΔT and flow is a “cold coil on a hot boiler”. We use project schedules, not the last site. Gasketed plates service well; brazed is compact but stricter on water; shell-and-tube for steam and dirty fluids.

Pipework: strainers, gauges, bypass, wash-down. Insulation and pressure tests. Plate access — or nobody services it in a year.

Commissioning: flows, no air, no weeps. Workmanship by contract. Tashkent water often needs dirt traps and treatment; we allow for it.

Interface with AHUs and chillers: plates between glycol and water, boiler vs coil separation. The exchanger is not a random “adapter” from the last warehouse.

Service: wash, gaskets, retest. Plant-room contracts keep plates from scaling shut by the second heating season.

Brands

Coils and heat exchangers: sizing first, brand second. Pros/cons cover durability, hydraulics, and kit completeness.

A brief comparison by class and use case — we match equipment to budget and site

Brand Class Pros Cons
Daikin Premium One ecosystem with manufacturer systems Costlier than universal coils
Güntner Premium Premium heat exchange for industrial loops High price and lead times
Alfa Laval Premium Precise plate HEX selection Premium budget per unit
Carrier Mid-range Clear ratings and familiar hydraulics Not always best efficiency/$
Systemair Mid-range Easy match to same-brand AHUs Narrower than pure heat specialists
Klingenburg Mid-range Rotary recovery for efficient AHUs Niche vs full HVAC brands

FAQ

Why does it scale so fast?

Water, no strainer, no wash. Not the plate if the pipework was “minimum”.

Brazed or gasketed?

Gasketed — service and extra plates. Brazed — compact, clean water.

Heat substations?

Yes, with tests and insulation.

Skip the calc, copy the next shop?

No. Schedules and flows differ.

Warranty?

Factory on the unit, us on pipework and start-up.

AHU coils?

Often the exchanger prepares the coil circuit. We size together.
