Start with room-by-room loads and supply/return layout — not floor-area rules of thumb. Glazing and kitchens drive peak duty in Tashkent heat.
Then: duct design → galvanized fabrication → indoor/outdoor install → refrigerant vacuum and pressure test → drain → grille balancing → commissioning. Silencers and isolation mounts belong in the first install, not after noise complaints.
Retrofit into finished interiors is possible but costs more and sounds louder than rough-in. Agree access panels with the designer before stretch ceilings.
In-house ducts speed lead times and keep exact sections for easier balancing. One contractor for design, ducts and install cuts handoffs.
Grille velocity and flex length drive noise — design them, don’t improvise.
Sloped drain with trap is mandatory under finished ceilings.
Access panels must open without ripping finishes.
Match duct static to the indoor unit rating or airflow falls short.
