Central air-conditioning systems Central · 07

A central system treats air in one machine — AHU or chamber — and ducts it through the building. Aurum Prodest installs central air conditioners, cooling/heating sections and in-house duct mains for halls, malls and office blocks.

A central AHU fits when one climate serves a large volume: retail floor, atrium, process with cleanliness rules. Filters, coil, heater and fan sit in one casing. We pick sections on flow and external pressure, not the nearest display size.

About the service

A central AHU fits when one climate serves a large volume: retail floor, atrium, process with cleanliness rules. Filters, coil, heater and fan sit in one casing. We pick sections on flow and external pressure, not the nearest display size.

Mains are large-section ducts from our shop: fewer joints, silencers off the unit. Grilles and diffusers are calculated so cashiers are not in a jet and mezzanines are not dead zones.

Cooling and heating connections: water or refrigerant, droplet eliminator, drain, heater freeze protection. Controls hold supply temperature and do not run the unit at max overnight. Fire alarm interlock per design.

Install is lifting, frame, isolation, filter access. Live malls run nights. Commissioning balances branches. Without it the far hall stays stuffy while the unit looks “powerful”.

Service: filters, belts, bearings, coil wash. 5-year workmanship. Seasonal contracts keep the hall from “suddenly noisy” after one dusty summer.

Brands

In industry, class equals downtime risk and ownership cost. Pros/cons by segment for plant, warehouse, or mall.

Brand Class Pros Cons
Daikin Premium Range scale and large-plant experience High ownership cost at entry
Mitsubishi Electric Premium Reliability in continuous duty Expensive for non-critical zones
Trane Premium Industrial premium chillers/central plant Long leads and strict budgets
Carrier Mid-range Capacity + standards + workable quote Not always top for comfort noise
York Mid-range Typical industrial loads Less premium line flexibility
Climaveneta Mid-range Common CIS commercial pick Depends on local support
Systemair Mid-range Handy in an AHU package Not the #1 “heavy chiller” brand

FAQ

Central vs splits?

One plant treats air for a hall or building. Splits are local. An atrium is usually better on a central unit than a dozen outdoor boxes.

Can a central system be zoned?

Partly with dampers and VAV if designed. Independent rooms are usually FCU or VRF.

Where does the AHU sit?

Plant room, roof, technical floor — wherever there is service, drain and lifting. Not behind a shop false wall with no filter access.

Do you make the ducts?

Yes, Tashkent shop. Central systems need large sections on a short clock.

How much power does it draw?

Flow and pressure. We calculate static so the fan is not twice the size and burning kW on closed dampers.

Is a design required?

Yes. Without network calcs the mains either roar or never reach the far hall.
