Multi-splits go on façades that cannot take a row of outdoor units. Aurum Prodest counts room diversity and pipe length and does not claim five indoors on a small outdoor will cool like five splits.

One outdoor has an index and diversity limit. If every bedroom hits max at 17:00, a small plant will not. We size spare and write how many indoors it can actually carry. Ports and pipe sizes follow the brand, not “all 1/4”.

About the service

Plus: clean façade, one bracket, one power feed. Minus: shared refrigerant, harder diagnosis, one outdoor death takes every room. Fine for a family that does not run everything; open-space offices usually want cassettes, ducted or VRF.

Several pipes, neat boxes, vacuum of the whole circuit, each indoor commissioned. 5-year workmanship. The quote compares separate splits so you see numbers, not a fairy tale that multi is always cheaper.

Washing the single outdoor matters more — it serves the whole flat. Skip that and every room “loses power” in July.

Split-system installation

Split install is easy to do badly: short vacuum, drain into the wall, outdoor with no isolation.

Cassette air conditioners

Cassettes sit in an Armstrong ceiling and throw four ways — useful for offices, shops and cafés that do not need hidden ducted.

Air-conditioner service and recharge

AC service is diagnosis, not “a cylinder into the pipe just in case”. Aurum Prodest cleans coils, checks pressures, finds leaks and charges to the brand’s charge. Blind recharge kills compressors.
