About the service

Several columns around the perimeter are often more honest than one giant: less draught and a spare while one is serviced. Long pipes, proper vacuum and charge.

The cabinet is visible. We agree colour, plinth and pipe boxes. We promise it will not be a random white fridge in the lobby — not invisibility.

Live lobbies at night with barriers. Full-load noise is checked. 5-year workmanship. Very large volumes may need a central AHU or VRF — we say when columns are not enough.

Filters are easier than ducted — a plus with street dust. Service more often than offices because the cabinet sits in the traffic path.

When a column instead of a split?

Height, volume, little ceiling space. A wall unit will not mix an atrium.

The column is very visible. Hidden option?

Ducted or central AHU. A column is power without a ceiling network.

How many for a lobby?

From the calc, not “two for symmetry”. Three on the perimeter can beat two in the middle.

Do they heat in winter?

Heat-pump models yes, within rating. Deep cold may need extra heat.

Noisy?

At full speed like any large machine. We set peak vs night modes.

Install time?

After pipes, often 1–2 days to set and start a typical lobby. Pipes take longer.
